While I am awaiting….

So the Crafter was unable to soap for a few weeks while awaiting delivery of much needed base oils and lots of unnecessary, but coveted ‘other’ ingredients. But she was well occupied in the interim pouring lots and lots of glorious soy candles:

If you have never burned a soy candle, you ought to indulge!! Of course it is a renewable ‘green’ product, but to top it off, it has such a great yummy burn and incredibly easy clean up. Of course, lots of testing is necessary to ensure proper wicking and scent throw, so the Crafter’s house smell absolutely delish!! And isn’t the glassware divine? All 100% recycled glass from our local cooperative (pretty sure a good percentage of the wine bottles originate from this house). …And so much of the fun comes from naming each creation too! It is all local-Northern themed of course: ‘Evenings in Old Town, Iceroad Adventure, Northern Comfort, Pickin’ Wildberries, Frame Lake Mornings, Cold Nose-Hot Coffee’, to name a few…

So the crazy soaping fest has begun in the Crafter’s kitchen. So many soaps to get done in time for Christmas…. And the bath bombs, sugar scrubs, body bonbons, lip balms and lotion sticks still to come…. Wheeeeeee……..
